Happy Anniversary

Our big anniversary weekend went off with a big bang! It was great getting all of the alumni and current members together on the Saturday for a final rehearsal before the big show. You could feel the excitement in the air.

That was followed by a great cocktail party where people shared some memories and forged new friendships. We saw some videos that took us down memory lane we well as some messages from some of our more notable alumni that could not make the night.

And of course, Sunday was the big day, where we came together, in various combinations of current and alumni members to put on a concert that will be remembered for years to come. We closed the show with an original song written by Astrid Jorgensen OAM (herself a QSC Alumni MD) specifically for QSC40, Better Together. All the lyrics held a special place in everyone’s hearts, especially the final line… “We’re better together, voices joined as one”!
